    What is wrong with American’s Politicians? They are again trying to stick it to the Oil and gas companies. In the house the Politicians wrote a bill to strip the oil companies of so called tax brakes and now the bill is on it way to the Senate. If this bill passes with out changes we the people will pay for the new taxies to the oil and gas companies.

Something that the Politicians forget is that the companies don’t have the money if no one can or will buy the product. Take the tax brakes away from the oil and gas companies and they will pass the new overhead to the consumers and lay off people to keep their profits up. Can you say high gas prices and long gas lines. We have lived these days before in the 70’s and had a bad economy and I guess we have not learned from our mistakes.

    If the Politicians really wont to help us, the little people why not stop founding The National Endowment for the Arts, NPR and PBS. These three pet projects of the elite class could save the American taxpayers Billions of dollars a year. The Politicians can also let the oil and gas companies drill for oil and gas here in the States. That would help on two fronts. One, we would not have to buy so much oil from other countries and it could also help with new jobs. Also let the companies build new refineries.

    These is a great Country and we can be strong and self independent, all we have to do is get the Politicians out of the way of American know how.

    I have been in many discussions about homosexual marriages and unions, with people of all walks of life. With me being a believer in Christ and God all mighty it is easy to just say God said it, Jesus fulfilled it, and that settles it.

    Living in today’s world and the way people are about Conservative Christianity, when they hear us as Christians say that homosexuals are living in sin, they call us narrow-minded and out of touch plus a list of other names. So I have been finding new ways to form the debt on homosexual marriages and unions. One that seems to get some people that are on the fence or has some logic, which helps them to think and change their minds, is.

   There is a reason that the government gives Heterosexuals tax breaks and looks favorably on their marriages. It is because a Heterosexuality marriage is the keystone to the fabric of our great nation. Heterosexuality give the United States of America’s government one important think that the homosexuals can’t do and it is to produce the next generation of soldiers, workers, and politicians. With out Heterosexuals reproducing America, this great endeavor would stop.

    When homosexuals are given the right to marry or have their unions, all we get is more taxes on the single people to make up the differences. They get tax relief and the government and get nothing. Homosexuals say that they don’t have the right to leave things to their other person or they can’t be there when they are in the hospital. Not totally true, there is a document called a will (living or last will). If written corracly it is hard to break.

The last thing, when I here on the radio the discussions about homosexual marriages and or unions. The homosexual will say the government has taken away their right to marry. That right has not been a right of the government, it is only the right of God.   You will hear people call in and say. "I love my sister or brother and I would like to marry them." or "I love my pet so why can’t I marry them?" The homosexual will say in some way, that you are being stupid and we know that it is wrong. A few years ago we knew that homosexuality was wrong and now a few wont to put that key into Pandora’s box, only God knows what will happen when you turn the key and open the led.

It is a shame that people don’t vote on off years. The Federal elections are important for defense and over all Country issues. The local elections are important for day to day life. If you don’t like the way your city or your County is being run, then each time the voting booths are open use your rights and vote. One vote can change the out come of an election. It is up to you not the person down the street. This area of Northeast Ohio that I live in is in trouble and looking at the voting turn out it looks like the residents don’t care. That is SAD!

I’m only 37 years old and I know that there are a lot of smarter and older people out there that follow the Government all day long. Maybe you can help us figure out what is going on with the Democratic Party leaders.

Their logic is just out there. Here are my reasons I think they are speaking out of both sides of their mouths.

 

They all say the Democratic support the soldiers, But not the war. I can’t figure out how that works. Now Sen. Hillary R. Clinton and Sen. Schumer try to put an earmark for 1 million dollars in the Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Spending bill. The earmark was for helping to create a museum honoring the 1969 Woodstock music festival. Was not that a festival about protesting a war and the soldiers?

Sen. Hillary R. Clinton says she is for women’s rights and that they can stand on their own, but she stays with a man that cheated on her though out their marriage and uses him to help raise money for her Presidential campaign? Sen. Clinton also complains about the jobs in America going over to China and the products that China sells back to us, but it looks like wife is doing the same thing Mr. Clinton did. Take money from the Chinese to get elected President. If you take money from a person or entity are you not beholden to them?

Then there was Rep. Charles Rangel trying to slip in a 2 million-dollar earmark for his own Center for Public Service and Charles Rangel Library. If he was so popular could he not get the money from the public though donations?

The Democratic Party says that we need to be tolerant with all Religious freedoms, but we can’t have Jesus and God in schools or have a Government official use their belief in Christ to help run the country.

There are Democratic leaders that voted for the war on Terrorism and now they say they were lied to. They also say that President Bush is the worst President and is to stupid run the free world. But President Bush has won two terms as Governor of Texas, two terms as President and has been able to somehow get the Democratic leaders to beliefs we had to go to war with Iraq. Which group is really stupid?

Now I know that the Democratic are not the only leaders that can lose their logic. Both Parties have lost some brain cells over the illegal immigration debt and there are a lot of programs out there.

So here we go the Congress handpicked General Petraeus to run the Iraq war and to report back what he finds. General Petraeus goes to Iraq and with the troop serge and starts to make a difference and when he comes back to Congress they say he is wrong. We have people on the left that call the General all kinds of names and say he needs to be replaced.

When the Democrats see that General Petaeus is standing firm, they start talking about the Iraqi Government’s benchmarks. The cry is that the Iraqis are not doing enough and that is why we should pull out.

Lets use their standers for the Iraqi war on their progress.

01. Balance budget ---------------------- No

02. Stopping corruption -----------------No

04. Stopping over spending ------------ No

05. Controlling the debt ---------------- No

06. Putting an end to the war ---------- No

07. Bringing troops home -------------- No

08. Same sex marriage ----------------- No

09. Rolling back the tax breaks ------- Not really (letting them run out.)

10. Fixing no child left behind -------- No

11. Illegal immigration ----------------- No

12. Raising minimum wage ----------- Yes (which in a year all the prices will adjust

to meet the wage increase.)

This, is only a few benchmarks that the Democrats campaigned on and only one has truly been meet. Which in the end it pulls more people into the poor house. With this information and the Democrats own play book, we should pull out of the United States or at lest the Democratic party. Just think, they are not being killed on the streets or their families for trying to make a difference in a country.

Remember, Iraq is at war and the war is in their land. The Iraqi government is a young Democracy with people who had to deal with a dictator for decades.

Long live the fighters of freedom and vote out the ones who say serender.

 

Hope is an interesting thing that no one can give to you. It is yours and yours alone.  Hope makes you strong, helps you set goals, and meet them. Only God knows your deepest thoughts and dreams, not the government or someone with an ulterior motive. Hope only comes from God. It isn’t anything the world or its governments can give you. There is not a person or politicians that can give you hope on false promises.
We need to stop looking to all the wrong places and people. It starts in the hearts of all of us. Hope was the birth of this country. It’s what gets us though wars and life’s obstacles. I’m here to let you know that the way the government is now, it takes our hopes away. The liberals of this government would like you to think that freedom is living life on unemployment, using abortion as a right, and using any of the programs available. The little secrete is that when we use these programs or support these causes, the government takes your hopes away. The truth is that the people only need the government to do three things. One is protection, second is control of our boarders, and third is the freedom to live and dream as big as you can imagine. I talk about God and one of his most special gifts to us, which is hope. There will be some politicians say bringing God into a government that should be separate from each other is wrong. There are two things to say about it. First, it’s hypocritical of someone to say that the government doesn’t need God, but then show up at your church, asking for your vote. Second, they don’t know that God is sovereign and the church is the people that believe in Him. This government was founded with God in all it’s charters down to the end of each speech given this year by the candidates. Thank you for your time and God bless.

 

I don’t know about you? I’m sick and tired of our elected officials in Congress wasting our time and money on grandstanding. Calling press conferences and all night meetings that they know it will go nowhere.

I’m not sure if it is President Bush or the Congress that is out of touch with the American people and what their jobs are. We have the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi flying all over the world in her government own jet, acting like she is the new President of the United States. When she needs to be running the day to day business of the House. There are Officials on both sides of the isle that are behaving like two year olds that need a good old fashion spanking.

We the American people did not vote out the last Congress because of the war; it was for the wasteful spending of the taxpayer money and then not dealing with any of the hard issues. Taking more time off than an actor going though rehab, raising their pay and not caring about making sure the tax cuts stay for the working middle class. Taking their junkets on our dimes to countries around the world as we here at home find ways to save money for gas.

The approval rating for the Congress is under the President’s rating and the news over looks it. The time has come for us to make a stand as American citizens. Most of us reading or hearing this would like a smaller government and one where the people have more control over it.

Here is what I think we should do.

First, shrink the Congress down to one Senator and Two Representatives per each State. This would save more then 84 million dollars in payroll. This does not include their staff, security, and bills and set up term limits for the congress.

Second, let the American people vote in Government officials pay raise. I know of no other job that lets you set your own rate.

Third, Let each state pay for their own Federal Congressman.

Fourth, If they can’t come up with a new way to fund Social Security, then they should be taken off their plan and put on Social Security. I beat they would come up with a fix in two hours if that would happen.

Fifth, let the President have line item veto and all the earmarks that are put into a bill marked with whom wrote it. So the voters can see what their elected Officials are doing on the hill.

Sixth, if we really want to be radical and change the Union, just as a business would if it was losing money, consolidate the company. How could we do this, you ask? Start with taking West Virginia and moving it back to Virginia. Then merge the Carolinas and the Dakotas into one state. If this plan worked, we could look at taking Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut and form it into a new state call New England.

I know that this is to radical for most, just thinking about it. If a business was in debt and was not trying to fix it, the government would run them up to the hill and ask why. Who is asking the government why they are not fixing American’s debt?

Public Schools

 

I know that each state in this great Union has rights as an independent State. I also know that the Federal government can trump State laws. I do not understand way at this time in this government’s history, that we are still using archaic rules for the Public school system.

The one that gets me the most is if you move one state to another state you can gain or lose credits for graduation. I know in my life, my dad’s job moved us to three different states and four different school districts. We as children, could not say we are not moving. The job told my dad to go we packed up and went. Yes, my dad could have changed jobs, why? The job was good and he moved though the ranks. As kids we got to learn about the country not just in textbooks or visiting a state, we lived there and got to know the history first hand.

I now have to nephews that now are in the same problem I was in. Moving while in high school. One moved from Pennsylvania to Minnesota for a year and now he is going back to Pennsylvania for his senior year. If he could stay in Minnesota all he would need to graduate is three classes. Going back to Pennsylvania he will not have the credits to graduate. My other nephew moved to Texas from Washington in his jr. year and he will be short on credits also.

This country is smaller now then it was when the Public school system was established. Family’s no longer grow up in the same city or the same state for generations and a family could move at lest once in a child’s school life. The federal government needs to make each school distract and state use the same credit structure for graduation and the same books, except for state history.   Now this is the true beginning of no child left behind.

 

I’m tried of hearing my friends and other people say that we should show the Republican leaders we are not happy with their leadership by letting the Democrats win the next couple of elections. Who does it hurt more, the leaders of the Republican Party or the people of the United States of America?

Let’s brake it down. Start with what your believes. Do you think the country would be better off with higher taxes? What do you think of homosexual marriage or unions and uncontested abortions? What is your thought on human embryonic stem cell research? Do you believe that all guns should be taken off the streets and letting law-abiding citizens be at the mercy of criminals? Are those your believes? These issues are held high in the Democrat party. What about letting the rest of the world tell America what to do. How about putting our brave soldiers at the mercies of a world court. Under most Democrats that’s what would happen. America is ours and ours alone; we don’t let any other government run our lives but our own.

Do you believe in smaller government, one who takes responsibility in its spending and lowering taxes? Do you believe in a party that keeps the foundation of America rooted in the family? Then you stand with the Republican Party. This is the same party that helps the victims and does not excuse the criminals.

I know you are saying "What about the immigration bill?" and some of the other bills the leaders of the Republican Party have tried to pass or passed? You know the old saying, "Don’t though the baby out with the bath water", that is what we don’t need to do right now. There are some people in the party that need to be replaced, not the party itself. The message is good and the vision is right.

Lets change the government and the leaders in the Republican Party in the primaries and not just turn over the government and what we believe in, to the other Party. There are good down to earth conservatives just looking for a way to help and change the Party. It is time for these people to stand up and take the lead. They need to run for office and stick to their beliefs. We need to back these new leaders with our votes in the primaries. This is the true way to let our voices be heard without giving up power. If we don’t vote and change the party and we let the Democrats take full charge of the government, then we are the ones that are wrong and weak. When we stand together, we can make the difference that we are looking for.

If you think I’m stupid or blowing smoke, look to Ohio to see what the Democrat leaders are doing. They have now twice-raised taxes on gas since the beginning of the year. Once in rollbacks on the holding taxes and once straight out to the consumer. Yes, I know, that all the legislator but one vote for the second tax gas hike. We in Ohio will pay about 7 cents more in each gallon of gas. Can you say, "President Cater and the 70’s government problems again?" Higher gas prices, longer gas lines, higher unemployment and double-digit inflation. In one word, recession.

Lets keep up the good fight and not just look the other way.

 The time has come for our generation to stand up and let the world and future generations know that we are not afraid and are not willing to give up our birthright to be called Americans.

At this point in our Country’s history it is being attacked at home and abroad. Our County’s foundation is being tested each time we question the values that made us great.

We hear that we are wrong or it is immoral to protect our country from radical invaders from the south or across the seas. We have a set of invaders coming up from our southern boarders, looking for a free pass to a dream they only want part of. They are not willing to join us as full citizens learning our language or embracing the chance to be called Americans. Insteand they would rater be individuals living among us using every bit of our resources, from gas to hospitalization and our jobs. Bleeding the resources of this country dry. Then we have the terrorist that would like to wipe America and our friends off the face of the earth for religious beliefs. Who is more intolerant, America or the illegal immigrates that could care less about the laws of this country and the fundamental radicals, blowing up schools and market places in the name of Ala?

First, do not be sucked into the debate on illegal immigration. Our forefathers had this fight at the being of this great country’s birth. Don’t think that the only way to come to America and work is to become an American. We have a pass called a work visa. We have people from all over the world come to America for a short time and then go home each year. We have laws in place to stop illegal immigrants and the businesses that use them. Put up a wall and it will help, use the laws with the wall and it will stop illegal immigration. Untie the hands of the law official’s so they can deport the illegal immigrants when they find them. Then let them prosecute the businesses that use the illegal immigrants. Don’t believe that Americans will not do the jobs that only the illegal immigrants will do. What happens when those illegally here become citizens of this country? Will they still do the job that they had when they were illegal at the same price? I worked on a farm while in high school and there are millions of American families that have been working on farms for generations. The other great thing about our forefathers, when challenged with a problem like a shortage of workers, they found new ways to beat the problem with good old American know how. Something the rest of the world used to look up to us for, till a few years ago when our leaders started selling us out to the lowest bidders or those who can fill their pockets for their re-election campaign.

Second, to the American people that cry about America fighting the terrorist across the sea. Stop! We were attacked and not just on September 11, 2001! We have been fighting this fight for years. The moment Iran held our love ones hostage and we did nothing, to the bombings of our embassies in Africa, the first attack on the trade centers and the attack on the Cole and all the hijackings and killings in between. Some people are tired of this fight, saying, "Bring our solders home!" Now is not the time to surrender to the radical terrorist across the sea. Are we ready to say we quit and willing to let the light of freedom blow out in the Middle East? If the answer is yes, then we are no better then the terrorist that hides behind the women and children as the kill our soldiers. We are over in Iraq and Afghanistan not just to protect our freedoms here at home; we are also there to protect the women and children of those countries. When we run from this fight in the Middle East and let our friends perish to these cockroaches, the terrorist would like nothing more than to undermine God’s given right for all people to be free and to have the ability to live in peace. Then we will have those same cockroaches come here with the intent to destroy the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. This is the foundation for the American liberty and what the brave Americans were fighting for in past generations. We must stay the course and make sure we are not the last generation of Americans. I would hate to be known as the generation that was more into it-self then the generation that stood up for our country and freed the world of these radical terrorists. Which will we be known for?

 We have made a new milestone in this great country’s history and I don’t think we will honestly take time to appreciate it. With this Fourth of July here the Republic has made it one more year and marks 231 years in a study in democracy. Will it just be another day off from work were we get to eat, drink and see fireworks and maybe buy something cheap? This day is a birthday of great importance. Our founding Fathers came to this country as British subjects to a King that though all the land and money was his. As the colonist grew to love this land and they came to understand the dream of freedom. The founding fathers took a stand against the super power of the day and won on determination. They understood that when you long for something you have to fight. Though the first decade of this great endeavor had a couple of governments and wars. We as a new nation stood together and started the candle of freedom that today is brighter then the sun. We as American citizens need to remember who come before us that made shore we have the right to be free. The writers of The Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution painted the seeds of this great Republic. With out us to protect the fruits of our founding fathers, America will wither and die. We need to as Americans take time to stop this Fourth of July and think of all whom have protected our freedoms. Pelage to make shore this nation can make it another 231 years. Lets not give up our birthright for a few beers and fireworks. Show that you are proud to be an American, Fly Old Glory, shake the hands of our protractors; Soldiers, police officers and all the others that keep the beacon of freedom illuminating the world.
